UGC Award

SAARC Chair, Fellowship and Scholarship

To promote regional unity, solidarity, peace and common understanding amongst peoples of SAARC countries. SAARC Chair, Fellowship and Scholarship skim has been initiated. Under this program three types of Fellowship and Scholarship are supposed to be offered from each SAARC country for other SAARC nationals:

SAARC Chair: Duration of the Chair is 6 month and senior university Professors are eligible to apply.

SAARC Fellowship: Duration 6 month. Associate Professor and Professor of university may apply for the fellowship.

SAARC Scholarship: Interested students willing to pursue their MS/M.Phil/ PhD degree can apply.

All applications are processed by the UGC only if it is requested to do so by the other SAARC countries.
